Man Claims Ex-Girlfriend Was ‘Rendered Unfit’ As A Mother Because Of ‘Outrageous Behavior’

Andy says when he broke up with Megan, his girlfriend of over a year and mother of his child, she got angry and hostile, and refused to leave, so he had to call the police. He says the next thing he knew, he was served with an emergency protective order, and Megan took their son to a different state. He was eventually awarded 50/50 custody and says that’s when the custody battle began.

“Because of Megan’s outrageous behavior, the guardian ad litem rendered her unfit. The court ordered Megan to do a parenting class and a substance abuse class, which, after two years, she has still not completed. Megan was also required to take monthly drug tests, and she kept failing those,” Andy says. “We did not take Avery away from her. It was her misguided actions, behavior, and her overall lack of responsibility,” Andy says.

Now, Andy and his fiancée, Caitlin, are raising Avery and claim Megan is not involved in his schooling, rarely calls, and always has an excuse for not visiting. Hear more of their story in the video above.
