Jeremy Scahill unpacks the “nonsense cover story” the U.S. and Israel put out about the strikes on Doha on the Drop Site Livestream this morning.

Scahill explains the U.S. “either greenlit or permitted Israel to bomb Qatar, a country that houses US Central Command … that the US says falls under a US security umbrella.”

“They allowed that strike to happen,” he says, and “put together a nonsense cover story about Steve Witkoff trying to call Qatar to warn them, but, oh, he was a little bit too late.”
