Israel is preparing a coordinated media campaign ahead of foreign journalists’ entry into Gaza for the first time after two years of genocidal killing and destruction.

Officials say the goal is to control the narrative as reporters document the destruction firsthand.

Under a plan the government presented to the Supreme Court, Israeli and foreign journalists will be allowed into Gaza under IDF escort up to the “yellow line.,” ie in Israeli-controlled areas of gaza where there are just some hundreds of Palestinians reportedly residing.

Officials have held strategy meetings to prepare for what they describe as a coming wave of “anti-Israel” reporting.

The effort includes creating “demonstration sites” to show how Hamas allegedly operated within civilian areas, and show signs of Hamas in homes, schools, and hospitals.

A senior official said the “IDF and Military Intelligence are working hard to gather the incriminating material needed to support this message” -– i.e to frame the destruction as Hamas’s responsibility. Another senior official explained, “We especially need visual evidence. When we take journalists on tours, we must explain what happened.”

The campaign also aims to contest Gaza’s death toll, with Israeli officials preparing data to argue that many reported civilian deaths were unrelated to Israeli attacks.

However, some insiders doubt Israel can shape global coverage, saying the devastation is already well documented. one official said “This is the aftershock — like a tsunami,”. “We just have to lower our heads, let the wave pass, and move on.”
