YouTube Description
as posted by the channelIsrael has banned Dr. Victoria Rose, a British NHS plastic surgeon who volunteered in Gaza three times since October 2023, from re-entering the Strip. According to Haaretz journalist Nir Hasson, Israel labeled her a “security threat,” but the real reason, he argues, is her willingness to speak publicly about what she witnessed inside Gaza’s hospitals.
Rose spent 21 days at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis during her most recent mission ending June 2025. Her accounts describe horrific conditions amid a deliberate medical aid blockade and intensified bombing, widespread malnutrition slowing wound healing, and child amputations at levels unmatched anywhere in the world.
In a June interview she said: “This doesn’t look like a campaign against a terrorist organization; it looks like a campaign against a population.”
Hasson says Israel has adopted a clear pattern: any aid worker who speaks to reporters risks being denied re-entry. Since June 2024, doctors of Palestinian descent have been completely prohibited from entering Gaza, and half of all foreign medics, including American surgeon Feroze Sidhwa, have faced rejections. Israel has also converted minimum stay requirements to just one month, further choking access to desperately needed medical volunteers.
