YouTube Description
as posted by the channelDrop Site correspondent Julian Andreone pressed Sen. Pete Ricketts about a $1,000 donation he accepted from Tyson days after saying he’d “look into” whether the company violated the Stockyards and Packers Act by shutting down its Lexington, Nebraska plant. The facility has since closed, leaving more than 3,200 workers jobless in a town of 10,000.
Asked about the layoffs, Ricketts speed-walked away: “Reach out to my office and we’ll get you a statement,” after an aide said, “We’re not taking any questions.” Ricketts has received $72,000 from Tyson over his career.
