Iran is “certainly subject to a war powers action by the Congress,” he told Drop Site.
He pivoted to Ukraine, saying, “A democracy is being pounded… And we damn well all step up to the plate on Ukraine.”
Pressed on American interventionism, he rejected the framing, saying the U.S. remains “the single power in the world that can hopefully bring stability and security,” and that he doesn’t think “we’re playing that role very well.”
