Thomas Massie’s War Powers resolution, saying the administration must explain why diplomacy failed and why war would be the only remaining option. He added that he does not support a war with Iran.
Asked about the Israeli government’s decades-long push for U.S. regime change in Iran, Subramanyam said, “I understand why they want us to go to war. We need to do what’s in the best interests of our country though.”
