YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThe primary purpose of prayer is to have a personal relationship and fellowship with God. Prayer doesn't change God, but it changes us and aligns our will with God's will.
Through prayer, believers are given the authority to spiritually bind and loose things on earth according to Matthew 16:19 and 18:18-20. This reflects the partnership and authority God has given humanity to impact the earth, referenced in Psalms 115:16.
Duane talks about an experience with his grandson being raised from the dead as an example of the power of believers agreeing together in prayer. When believers unite in prayer, Christ is present in their midst (Matthew 18:19-20). Prayer matters because Jesus has delegated His authority to believers to impact the earth through prayer (Matthew 28:18-20). The believer's authority allows God's will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. #prayer #relationship #god
