What was destroyed in the first garden was restored in the second—Gethsemane. Adam partook of the tree of disobedience and brought death. Jesus Christ partook of the Tree of Obedience and, through his death on the cross, brought righteousness, justification, and eternal life to all who believe.
Through Christ's redemption, believers are fully forgiven of all sins - past, present, and future. Our new identity in Christ transcends societal distinctions such as race, gender, or social status. Embrace your identity as a saint rather than seeing yourself as a sinner saved by grace. You are not who you were in Adam or who you are after the flesh, but who you are now in Christ.
