Associate Professor in the Graduate School of Medicine’s Department of General Dentistry, Division of Forensics at the University of Tennessee Medical Center teaching dentists in the M.S. and Fellowship program in forensic dentistry, head and neck anatomy, mineralized tissue histology and research methods.

Forensic Anthropologist at the East Tennessee Regional Forensic Center in Knoxville and the Hamilton County Medical Examiner’s Office (Chattanooga) doing recovery, biological assessment, skeletal trauma, and identification casework. This position facilitates inclusion of hospital dental residents in the University of Tennessee Medical Center’s Department of General Dentistry’s GPR program to forensic human identification procedures.

Manages National Forensic Academy outdoor decomposition facility teaching archaeological clandestine grave recovery methods and forensic anthropology to dentists in above mentioned programs and national law enforcement personnel.

Adjunct Visiting Professorships in Department of Anatomy & Neurobiology, Boston University and Department of Anatomy, University of Western Australia.

Research interests include fetal dental development, dental histology and fracture callus “healing” histology.
