The Thurgood Marshall Highschool was founded by socially engaged law students and professors at Georgetown University. After a shaky start, it's now become a flagship project. It demonstrates that children from poor socio-economic backgrounds can become a success with the help of a good education. The quota of students who go on to college is currently 100 percent.
