7:01Now PlayingEnergy use is rising rapidly in emerging economies, especially those with strong export industries. The result is growing carbon emissions and soaring energy prices. That's why energy efficiency is becoming ever more important -- both to protect the climate and for companies' bottom lines. In Thailand, local energy consultants, with international help, are helping companies streamline their production processes so that they use less energy without compromising on economic output.
