6:55Now PlayingTraffic congestion is a perennial problem in Johannesburg. One solution could be Rea Vaya, the first public bus rapid transit system, the first of its kind in Africa. The Rea Vaya buses are replacing thousands of taxis and minibuses that clog the roads, and it's hoped that one day they'll lower carbon emissions by 40,000 tons a year.
