1:58Now PlayingWhat meditation apps are best for helping people relax? We test three of them, listing their advantages and disadvantages and picking our favorite.Countless meditation apps offer instructions and exercises to help you relax. Shift tested three apps - ZMeditations, Headspace and Meditation Time, looking to see how effective and how user-friendly they are. ZMeditations has a good, clear layout but allows few options to adapt the settings to the user's preferences. Meditation Time offers the user many more options, but provides no instructions. Headspace has some paying options, but also offers a free basic version that provides a good guide on how to use the app to meditate. So Headspace came out on top in our test.
