In Brisbane, Musica Maestra Alondra de la Parra and the Queensland Symphony Orchestra perform together with Australian didgeridoo virtuoso William Barton.

Alondra de le Parra is a Mexican conductor. She was born in New York and raised in Mexico. She started her piano studies at age seven. Alondra de la Parra got her musical education in Mexico City and New York. In 2015, she became the music director of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra in Australia. She was the first female principal conductor of an Australian symphony orchestra.
