British Prime Minister Theresa May and her government face a no-confidence vote later today after lawmakers threw out her Brexit deal. It's been called the biggest parliamentary defeat in modern British history, and it casts even greater uncertainty over when, how and even if Britain will withdraw from the European Union. If May's government loses the confidence vote, it could trigger a general election and fresh chaos for the acrimonious Brexit process. But not everyone in London is afraid of that prospect. Meanwhile, reactions to last night's vote have been coming in from EU leaders. Germany's Chancellor Angela Merkel seemed to give Prime Minister May some wriggle room for further negotiations.
