7:21Now PlayingAn estimated 100 protesters remain holed-up inside Hong Kong's Polytechnic University (PolyU) since a police siege of the campus began on Sunday. Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam has called on the protesters to surrender. The siege has resulted in some of the most intense violence since anti-government demonstrations began more than five months ago. DW spoke with a first aid worker, who managed to leave the university campus without getting arrested.
