as posted by the channelIn an impassioned speech, US President Joe Biden spoke of a 10-year-old girl from Ohio who reportedly had to travel to another state to terminate a pregnancy after being raped.
After the Supreme Court overturned the Roe v. Wade decision that made abortion legal throughout the US, Ohio passed a law that made abortion illegal after six weeks. Since the 10-year-old child was reportedly six weeks and three days pregnant, she was forced to travel to the neighboring state of Indiana to get an abortion. For now, the procedure remains legal in Indiana, though that is expected to change in the near future.
