YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThe aviation industry is holding its first major event, with the return of the Farnborough global airshow. The Airshow has resumed after a 3 year hiatus due to the pandemic. It kicked off with a major deal announced between Delta Airlines and the American aircraft maker, Boeing. Delta said the order for one hundred Boeing 737 Max 10 aircraft will help modernize its fleet, and that it expects the Max planes to reduce fuel consumption by 20 to 30 percent. The order is great news for Boeing, which has recently struggled to compete with its European rival Airbus.
But it comes against a backdrop of an aviation industry battling staff shortages, and bankruptcies across the globe - but particularly in Europe. Leading aviation companies will showcase the latest innovations during the five-day event.
