War and supply chain problems boost inflation in Europe | DW Business Special

Across Europe, people are struggling to pay the bills as inflation soars to levels not seen in decades. Prices had already been rising before the war in Ukraine as consumers began spending again after the lifting of pandemic restrictions. But Russia`s invasion of the country and the resulting pressure on gas supplies has pushed an uncomfortable situation into a full-blown crisis.
