7:48Now PlayingIran's Supreme Court has upheld a death sentence against a 68-year-old Iranian-German dual national for the crime of what it calls "corruption on Earth". Journalist and activist Jamshid Sharmahd was sentenced to death in February, accused of playing a role in a 2008 mosque bombing. His family says he is innocent – and German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock has called on Iran to reverse the judgment.
