European countries can now supply Ukraine with F-16 fighter aircrafts. US will not supply them yet but will train Ukrainian pilots on F-16s. In the wake of the G-7 summit in Hiroshima, Joe Biden reversed his stance and gave his approval. On his worldwide tour from Saudi Arabia to Japan, this was perhaps the most significant success for President Zelensky. And it comes at a time when Russia claims to have captured Bakhmut in eastern Ukraine. So, on To The Point, we are asking: F-16s for Ukraine: Why do they matter?
