as posted by the channel

Polls have opened in Turkey's presidential runoff. The race pits current leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan against his main rival Kemal Kilichdaroglu. He's offered voters an inclusive platform and promised a democratic reset, including a return to a parliamentary system of government and an independent judiciary. But Erdogan looks likely to extend his tenure as modern Turkey's longest serving leader.

DW's Aya Ibrahim is also following the election. She met supporters of the two candidates in Istanbul, and filed this report on how feelings on both sides show a deep divide in Turkish society.
