as posted by the channelNATO is ending a week that saw the alliance enlarge. Finland officially joined NATO this week, with Ukraine hoping to follow suit, sooner rather than later. That was clear at NATO's summit in Vilnius. But Ukraine is ending the week with the certainty that it won't be joining NATO anytime soon. That said, NATO members did recommit themselves to helping Ukraine as its battles the Russian invaders. The US also remains adament that Russian President Vladimir Putin will never achieve what he set out to do with this war.
