Israel agreed to allow two fuel trucks per day into Gaza after pressure from the United States and dire warnings from the United Nations about the humanitarian situation in the territory. The UN says the fuel deliveries are less than 10 percent of what's required to meet the basic needs for human life. Many civilians in Gaza are struggling to find enough food and water to survive, with fuel desperately needed to power generators at bakeries and water desalination plants.
