as posted by the channel

The UN has halted aid to hundreds of thousands in Sudan due to the escalating civil war. The World Food Programme ceased operations in parts of Jazeera province as the Rapid Support Forces advanced on Wad Medani, prompting the withdrawal of Sudan's army. Around 300,000 people have fled the city, once a safe haven for the displaced. The conflict has also affected the southern region, where the UN agency was feeding 800,000 people. The civil war has claimed 12,000 lives and displaced millions.
