More than 20 other people were injured, according to Juliette Touma, UNRWA director of communications.
International efforts to get humanitarian aid into Gaza are ramping up. A second ship is preparing to sail from Cyprus with more supplies. The first ship carrying around 200 tonnes left Cyprus yesterday.
Large parts of Gaza have been left devastated since Israel launched its military offensive in response to Hamas' October 7 terror attacks.
