3:35Now PlayingTaiwanese chip manufacturer TSMC has begun construction of its first European semiconductor plant in Dresden. It is expected to be completed in 3 years and will create 2000 new jobs in what is being called Silicon Saxony. The new factory will cost more than 10 billion euros, about half of which will be funded by taxpayers.
