Lebanon's Hezbollah militia said it carried out its first retaliatory attack against Israel for the killing of a senior military commander. The Iranian-backed Shiite militia said 320 rockets were fired at Israel in the early morning.
Israeli media reports said 200 rockets and about 20 drones were fired at Israel from Lebanon. Israeli missile defenses intercepted dozens of rockets.
