The Israeli military continues to target what it says are terrorist cells with a foothold in the Jenin and Tulkarem refugee camps.
Meanwhile, the militant Islamist group Hamas has claimed responsibility for two attacks in the West Bank that left one Israeli soldier dead and three others wounded.
Hamas, which carried out the October 7th terrorist attacks, has repeatedly called on Palestinians living in the West Bank to rise up against the Israeli occupation.
The UN has urged Israel to halt its raids in the West Bank, warning that they were "fueling an already explosive situation."
