1:34Now PlayingRival protesters faced off outside the home of South Korea's impeached President Yoon Suk Yeol. Some tried to protect the impeached president inside from arrest, while others called for his immediate detention.
Korea's Constitutional Court is deciding whether to uphold Yoon's impeachment or reinstate him. Acting president Choi Sang-muk appointed two new judges on Tuesday. Yoon is also charged with insurrection, which according to Korean law can carry life imprisonment or even the death penalty.
