She accused Mr Trudeau of using costly gimmicks to appease voters.
Justin Trudeau has been in power for almost a decade and is the son of former Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau. He came to power in 2015 on a wave of popularity, due to his youthful energy and his policies on combatting climate change.
