13:16Now PlayingTaiwan was represented by a single unofficial delegate at this year’s Munich Security Conference — despite being perhaps the world’s most dangerous flashpoint. DW spoke to Enoch Wu, Taiwanese politician, and founder of the NGO Forward Alliance, about why it is so important for Taiwan to be represented at such international events, and why Taiwan is so concerned about what kind of deal Donald Trump negotiates with Vladimir Putin over Ukraine. Enoch Wu stressed the process would have “direct implications for Asia… and autocrats are looking very closely” — with fears in Taiwan that China could get the message that it could seize Taiwan with impunity.
