6:13Now PlayingHamas militants have handed over two Israeli hostages. Another hostage release is due to take place shortly. The two hostages were displayed by Hamas in Rafah a short while ago before being transferred to the Red Cross. The hostages have since crossed into Israeli territory.
Four more hostages are due to be released in the Gaza town of Nuseirat. The six to be freed today are the last living hostages eligible for release under the first phase of the Hamas-Israeli ceasefire deal. Some 600 Palestinian prisoners and detainees held in Israeli jails are due to be freed in return.
