Mobile phone video recovered from one of the medics contradicts Israel's initial account that the medics' vehicles did not have emergency lights flashing when Israeli troops fired on them on March 23rd. The investigation found that due to poor night visibility the deputy battalion commander thought the ambulances belonged to Hamas militants. The medics' vehicles immediately came under fire, which lasted more than five minutes.
