2:56Now PlayingThe US has come its closest yet to linking Pakistan to last week's deadly attack in Indian-administered Kashmir. In an interview with Fox News, US Vice President JD Vance called on Pakistan to cooperate with India to hunt down what he called Pakistan-based militants. 26 people - mostly tourists - were killed by gunmen. India linked the attack to Pakistan, which Pakistan denies. Vance said he hopes India's response to the attack does not lead to a broader regional conflict. Islamabad says it has intelligence that India is planning a military attack. DW Reporter Beenish Javed spoke to Pakistan's Information Minister this week about the spiralling tensions between the two neighbors.
