His trip included talks with the Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa in Ramallah in the occupied West Bank. Earlier, in a meeting with his Israeli counterpart, Wadephul said the conflict in Gaza cannot be solved by military means and a political solution must be found to end the war permanently.
