6:39Now PlayingThere are reports of intense clashes near Khartoum between Sudan's regular army and the paramilitary group, the Rapid Support Forces. The army said it had launched an offensive against the RSF in the city of Omdurman in Khartoum state. The RSF had retreated there after being pushed out of the nearby capital, Khartoum. The two sides have been at war since April 2023. The UN says the violence has caused the world's worst humanitarian crisis.
