7:57Now PlayingNigeria's foreign minister Yusuf Tuggar has told DW what's happening in Gaza and Palestine is "apartheid" and that his country will always stand against it. But in a wide-ranging interview, Yusuf Tuggar said "we're not against Israel, we're not against Israeli people, and people should stop equating speaking up against what is happening with some hatred towards Jewish people." Tuggar called such criticism "a deflection from what is actually going on that the whole world needs to address." He spoke to DW on the sidelines of a meeting of European Union and African Union ministers in Brussels. The minister added: "Stand up tall and speak for the truth, because history will judge all of us."
