6:51Now PlayingSouth Koreans are voting in a snap presidential election to choose a successor to former President Yoon Suk Yeol.
Yoon cast his ballot in Seoul after he was impeached and removed from office over his declaration of martial law in December. The main candidates are Lee Jae-myung of the opposition Democratic Party - who is seen as the prime mover behind that impeachment - and Kim Moon-soo from Yoon's ruling People Power Party. Pre-election surveys have put Lee well ahead. Media reports say turnout has been high.
More than a third of the 45 million eligible voters already cast their ballots last week - a sign of the high stakes at play.
