8:54Now PlayingAs international pressure on Israel mounts over the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, there's also growing criticism over Jewish settlers in the occupied West Bank. Last week Israel announced it will build 22 new settlements in the Palestinian territory, contrary to international law. Recently, two Oscar winning filmmakers tried to show international journalists the situation in the West Bank, but they were blocked by Israeli soldiers. DW's Emily Gordine reports from the village of Khallet a-Dabe, and we speak to Omri Eran-Vardi, an Israeli photographer and activist who's covered the displacement of Palestinians in the West Bank.
