Weidel criticized the current German coalition's already restrictive migration policies, asserting the government had not deported enough people from the country. Weidel claimed "215,00 Syrians - the equivalent of an entire city have been told to leave." The AfD has been designated as a "right-wing extremist" party by Germany's Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, a classification they dispute.
