In a social media post, Trump accused India of buying and reselling large amounts of Russian oil on the open market for big profits. New Delhi responded by saying it would take measures to protect its interests and described the steps by Washington as 'unfair'. India has resisted pressure from the US to distance itself from Russia since it invaded Ukraine -- citing its own economic needs.
