On Monday, US President Trump spoke about his expectations ahead of the encounter. He now says the meeting will not include Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Furthermore, he said he is not expecting to come away from the meeting with a deal to end the war in Ukraine. Trump says any deal will be up to presidents Putin and Zelenskyy, in direct talks -- at a later date.
