13:24Now PlayingTrump and Putin left their meeting in Alaska with no clear steps mapped out on how to end the war in Ukraine. How is that going down in Kyiv?
Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy plans to visit Washington for a meeting with Donald Trump this Monday - after the summit between the US president and Russian leader Vladimir Putin failed to deliver a deal to end the war. Trump inviting Putin to the US ended the West's shunning of the Russian leader ever since he sent troops into Ukraine for a full-scale invasion in February 2022. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was not invited. He described the meeting with Trump as Putin's "personal victory."
