Gaza's Hamas-run Civil Defence Agency says at least nine people were killed in the strikes. Israel and Hamas accuse each other of violating the US-backed ceasefire agreement, which came into effect about three weeks ago. An Israeli official said IDF troops had come under fire in the city of Rafah in southern Gaza. Hamas released a statement, denying involvement in the attack.
