as posted by the channel

Police have clashed with farmers protesting the EU's planned free-trade deal with the South American Mercosur countries. The unrest happened outside the place where the summit of European Union leaders is being held. The European parliament was forced to evacuate some of its staff, due to damage caused by the protestors. Negotiations on a free trade agreement between the EU and Mercosur – which currently comprises Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay began 25-years-ago. It's set to be signed but there are discussions to postpone a vote on its ratification.
