In Uganda, people are heading to the polls for the country's general elections. There are 8 presidential candidates, but the main race is set to between incumbent president Yoweri Museveni, who's been in power for 40 years and his main opponent Robert Kyangulanyi, popularly known as Bobi Wine. Ahead of the elections, the government shut down internet nationwide. The UN warns that free and fair elections require open access to information.
