5:28Now PlayingThe US is looking to choke off Iran's oil income, leading to speculation that it will go after Tehran's largest oil terminal on a small Island in the Persian Gulf. Kharg island sits roughly 30 kilometers off the Iranian coast and is less than half the size of Manhattan. Kharg is basically a huge oil storage facility, almost all of Iran’s exported crude oil passes through there. But to take the island without damaging its infrastructure, experts agree that ground troops would be necessary.
