The events in Haiti led by Toussaint Louverture and Jean-Jacques Dessalines altered the course of human history and brought America into eminence. Why won’t America support the Haitian American community and preserve Little Haiti? If they won’t, we should!
In order for Black Communities across America to thrive and be self-sufficient, like other communities, it is going to require a fearless unified front. When we learn the truth about our history, we will automatically be inspired to continue the legacy of the courage and might of our ancestors.
